KRUUSE ECG and Heart Workshop 2016
With Dr. Rachel James MA VetMB CertSAM DVC MRCVS
Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Cardiology
After much demand we are pleased to bring you a uniquely designed ECG CPD course, together with Dr Rachel James we have designed a very practical course designed for primary vets. During the course we will, using the latest technology, provided by KRUUSE, listen to all the common heart murmurs and heart sounds. Then we will go back to basics with ECGs, explaining how they are formed, the different limb leads and mean electrical axis (MEA). We will then go through all the frequently seen ECGs in practice including a 2 hour practical session. We will discuss treatment and go through a number of cases to include the emergency life threatening cases. By the end of the day you will be confident reading ECGs and listening to the common heart murmurs.
